With our system for visual passenger information in rail vehicles, we grant you the latest standard in that field of technology. The PIS-Server, as a central unit in the vehicle, is responsible for data-management and control of intern and extern LED-displays, as well as passenger-information-displays. The layout on the TFT-interior-displays can be designed TSI-conform after your wishes and be rearranged easily at any time. Additionally, the PIS-server provides important interfaces to the vehicle, other subsystems and land-sided modules, for example the PIS-background system InLineWeb.PIS from INTERAUTOMATION. A driver display, that allows the driver necessary actions like manual selection of the journey, skipping of stops or initiating special announcements, is part of the PIS-system. The displays of the visual PIS are always synchronized with the announcements of the passenger announcement system.
The passenger announcement system in rail vehicles is also designed after the latest standards. All peripheral-end-devices can be connected via digital VoIP-SIP-Interface or, if possible on end-device, analog via UIC-interface. Through that, the system is able to meet certain fire-protection-requirements. We also designed an UIC-VoIP-SIP-converter specifically for refitting-projects with interfaces to existing systems. Through that, speaker, emergency intercoms, as well as operational intercoms can be connected over a huge bandwidth.
Next to the PIS/PAN-Server, as a central unit in the vehicle for PIS/PAN-data management and control of visual end-devices, the “Rail Communication Soft-Switch” (RCSS) is installed to trigger the voice-communication in the vehicle (automatic, manual or special-announcements, as well as communication between driver and train-attendants or connection to passenger-intercoms). The PIS/PAN inheres a drivers-display, which allows the driver to maneuver specific actions regarding the PIS/PAN, for example the manual selection of a journey, the elimination of stops, trigger for special-announcements and communication with passengers and train attendants. The announcements of PAN are always synchronized with displays of the visual PIS.
The heart of a passenger information system is represented by the land-side data management in the module InLineWeb.PIS. Next to the connection to the planning system, for the purpose of journey-timetable- and vehicle-rotation-plan-supply, InLineWeb.PIS takes over management of infrastructure- and network-information, e.g., stop-coordination, stop-intervals, station-configuration and more.

The InLineWeb-Infotainment-module realizes the administration and data management of your Infotainment contents for your vehicle fleet. Next to an organized stacking in subject-focused folder structures, you are able to construct campaigns in form of programs and fixed sequential arrangements in form of groupings. To ensure an optimal presentation on the displays in the vehicle, graphic-resolution and width-to-height ratio are tested. The Display-simulator aides you in testing your individual media-packages and process-plans, before they are transmitted to the fleet. For ambitious public transport networks, the module provides extended functionalities, that enable you to present route-, region- or location-dependent Information or advertisement.
Additionally, you are able to differentiate in detail, especially regarding weekday-groupings, journeys, daytimes, in order to realize your individual Infotainment-planning for your public transport network.

In the "InLineWeb.PIS" module, the complete scheduling of the acoustic and visual passenger information systems is managed and controlled.Multilingual content can be stored for each display type and announcement medium, which can be displayed/announced using appropriate triggers and rules.
The "PIS Timetable Preview" in the "InLineWeb.PIS" module enables complete checking of the processes, triggers and media defined for the passenger information system.
In the "Infotainment" module, various media packages can be created for the entire vehicle fleet. At the end of the process of creating a media package, it can be checked directly on the screen with regard to the correct media, resolutions and display durations in the demo view.
With the "Infotainment" module, rule-based sequences of media packages of any complexity can be created referencing to network, line, location and time and defined for specific validity periods.
