Etract from the press release of Messe Berlin dated 27th April 2020:
“On 21 April 2020, in order to contain the spread of SARS-CoV-2 the Senate of Berlin imposed a ban on staging large events, in particular trade fairs, until 24 October 2020. As a result, it will not be possible for Messe Berlin to hold InnoTrans as originally planned from 22 to 25 September 2020.
After consulting with the leading market players and founding industry associations Messe Berlin has therefore decided to postpone InnoTrans.
InnoTrans will now take place from 27 to 30 April 2021“

The Alpha Trains Group has closed a general agreement with INTERAUTOMATION Deutschland GmbH.
The ceremonious contract signing took place on the 22nd of September on the InnoTrans 2016.
For the contract signing met: Shaun Mills, CEO Alpha Trains, Thomas Schmidt, Managing Director (Passenger Division) Alpha Trains and Manuel Mang CEO INTERAUTOMATION Deutschland GmbH as well as Andreas Langenhan Sales Director INTERAUTOMATION.
The contract encloses the delivery of components for systems of automatic passenger counting and real-time passenger information for rail passenger transport.
Alpha Trains and INTERAUTOMATION already work together for many years successfully.
„With this general agreement we are based on the good experiences of the past and want to co-operate in the future with common projects even more narrowly”, says Jörg Hagemeyer, Engineering Director (Passenger Division) Alpha Trains.
With the retrofitting of 44 passenger trains of the type Flirt for Teutoburger-Wald-Netz (TWN) and the Hellweg-Netz (HWN) a component of the general agreement is called away with the installation of an automatic-passenger-counting-system for the first time. These complement the real-time passenger information systems, which were already delivered in a former project phase of INTERAUTOMATION.
